Typhoon is not really a problem in this part of Samar, particularly Bobon-San Roque-Catarman area in Northern Samar. Proof of this is this Nipa Hut built in January 2004 on the beach. After 1 year, this Nipa Hut is still standing until now with its nipa roofing still intact! (The picture on the left was taken January 19, 2005.)
