Around 10% of the property is thickly forested with timber trees, and the rest of 90% of the property is covered with fruit trees as follows:
 More than 500 coconut trees, approximately 10-15 years old trees.
Around 250 Durian trees, 90% are 7 years old and fruit bearing, and the rest are 3-4 years old replants.
Around 200 Rambutan trees, all are fruit bearing (we had a bumper harvest this season that just ended).
Around 6,000 citrus (Calamansi), 60% are 4-5 years old trees and are productive, and the rest are between several months to 1 year old planted.
Around 20 full grown highly productive cashew trees.
Around 12 full grown mango trees.
Approximately 500 full grown timber trees (Mahogany, Gmelina, Narra, Apitong, Anogdong), and several giant bamboo clumps. We use bamboos from the farm to prop up heavily fruiting durian trees.
Various trees such as Ilang Ilang, Bread fruit, Jackfruit, Marang, Guyabano (Sour sop), Atis, Papaya, Bignay, and lots of banana trees of Lakatan, Tundan, and Saba varieties are also inside the property.
For animal raising facilities:
An all metal pig pen with concrete floor that can accommodate 15 fatteners with installed biogas digester.
An all wood goat house designed for zero grazing that can accommodate 60 heads.
In addition to the 2 streams on the property boundaries, the property has access to a nice river that offers good fishing for native fish specie (dalag, haluan, tilapia, eel, etc.)
There is a small timber and stone cottage in the property where you can stay during your visit (see photos), and a fully enclosed bodega/training center approximately 250 square meters area (see photos).
Water there is a small spring inside the farm that does not dry up even during long dry spell due to many full grown trees inside the farm. I have constructed a big cement tank below the spring to store water. The stored water is then pump into the cottage for use. Excess water (which is a lot) is being shared by neighbors around the farm. Several huge concrete water tanks are installed in strategic areas of the farm that serves as rainwater collections, for animal and orchard maintenance.
The property is covered with clean titles. It has electric connection, and with good mobile phone signals in most parts of the property. The whole property is fenced with barbed wires. |
